'... isn't it good, Norwegian Wood!"
The Log Cabin Clubhouse was requested by two growing lads to allow them some space of their own where they could 'crash and hang out'.
They wanted to be able to invite friends to play table tennis, pool, air hockey and watch tv and play computer games etc. without adults spoiling their fun.
So a Norwegian cabin was ordered and arrived one day in kit form.
It has since proved useful as a home office, a place for card games and good additional leisure space.
It now has a microwave oven, fridge plus a cooker and sink unit courtesy of a trailer tent that had seen better days. (the water is filtered from a water butt).
Discarded kitchen units have been cut down to provide cabinetry and display cabinets and a rooflight has been cut-in to provide additional natural lighting on dull days.
The canopy was added to form a carport but is equally useful for shaded barbequing and is ideal as a sheltered area to play table tennis.
